Scope for a .270

personally I’d go with the Swarovski 4-12x50 AV
Habicht SFP 4A reticle as is on my 270 its perfect size reticle for woodland and open hill.

Just remember that age has a large effect on what glass you need. At almost 60 I find a 42mm scope is just as good in low light up to 9x mag as anything larger as my max exit pull is now about 4mm. In fact my Hawke 1-4 x 24 gives me as clear a picture in the evening as my old Kahles 42mm scope. Unless you are using the higher mags up in the double figures why cart around extra weight?
