You are Ron Davies and I claim my £5.Phew.
At first I thought it said "Wales to ban dogging in the coutryside".... was wondering how I was going to fill my evenings![]()
He was looking for badgers...You are Ron Davies and I claim my £5.
Right alongside "I was attempting to relieve his pancreatitis" as the greatest excuses of all time!He was looking for badgers...
And it wasn't even suggesting banning dogs from the countryside, but possibly restricting dogs from certain areas, partly because owners aren't picking up the dogs' crap. Terrible reporting and a misleading headline made worse by people not bothering to read the article and instead letting themselves get worked up.How many of you read the report? It is quite clear that the government are not intending to ban dogs but this was a suggestion raised in a report that seems full of leftie woke clap trap! Click bait at its best![]()
Fifyinstead going out of their way to get worked up.
I find it hilarious when people cry about the "woke brigade" getting knickers in a twist & yet the same people have a hissy over a non event. Stranger times. And it wasn't even suggesting banning dogs from the countryside, but possibly restricting dogs from certain areas, partly because owners aren't picking up the dogs' crap. Terrible reporting and a misleading headline made worse by people not bothering to read the article and instead letting themselves get worked up.
You're doing little better. The report doesn't mention anything about owners not picking up crap either. The recommendation about dog-free areas was generated for no reason given in the report. And it wasn't even suggesting banning dogs from the countryside, but possibly restricting dogs from certain areas, partly because owners aren't picking up the dogs' crap. Let's express it better - it's a report which recommends banning dogs from some areas, for no given reason, to improve ethnic minorities' experiences of green areas, which they don't visit much. It's still a significant waste of taxpayers' money and a completely moronic proposal.Terrible reporting and a misleading headline made worse by people not bothering to read the article and instead letting themselves get worked up.
Spot on, the Welsh Government are funding a bunch of students to come up with a complete load of right on guff.We can laugh, but who paid for the report? What is clear is that governments are continuing to allow civil servants to waste money on financing "leftie woke clap trap". That is because this sort of nonsense eventually becomes policy - the type of policy nobody ever votes for but which we cannot avoid having.
God forbid anyone tries to grow eggplants in their allotment im Swansea. They'll be banged up or lynched.Spot on, the Welsh Government are funding a bunch of students to come up with a complete load of right on guff.
If anyone’s interested, heres the report, makes for depressing reading when people not growing vegetables in their garden somehow has anything to do with the colour of their skin!!

If I have read it correctly, 37 people from the same venue were consulted to find out what any issues are. I would have hoped for a larger group from different areas to find the true issues that need resolving.Spot on, the Welsh Government are funding a bunch of students to come up with a complete load of right on guff.

Just like the reporting of the 20mph zones, thenAnd it wasn't even suggesting banning dogs from the countryside, but possibly restricting dogs from certain areas, partly because owners aren't picking up the dogs' crap. Yup. Something fools wanted and which turned out to be a harmful, counter-productive and a massive waste of money.Just like the reporting of the 20mph zones, then
It's turned out absolutely fine.Yup. Something fools wanted and which turned out to be a harmful, counter-productive and a massive waste of money.
20mph was probably implemented in your area with a sensible approach- some areas have gone blanket 20mph irrespective of how safe the road is. I did see “The Leader “ today on TV stating that some roads are being reverted back to 30 mph - this shows it has not been absolutely fine as they would not budge on it otherwise. It's turned out absolutely fine.
And, given that your location is Middlesex, it's not your issue anyway.
I haven't yet come across anywhere where there's been a "blanket" imposition of the 20mph limit, yet it was widely reported in the media at the time - and widely believed by people outside Wales - that that would be the case.20mph was probably implemented in your area with a sensible approach- some areas have gone blanket 20mph irrespective of how safe the road is.
