Foreign food like Pizzas were never battered by the slice in our local. Just folded in half, cheese bit on the inside, and deep fried. The dough didn’t soak up as much oil as you’d think, a bit like a doughnut. But if the seal wasn’t good it did tend to hold the oil inside with the cheese.Yes but even we paused at the battered pizza slice
