I left the basc in the 90's.
I'm begging all current members to relinquish their membership.
The sooner this treacherous organisation crumbles the better.
It has harmed shooting by not defending shooters but sought only to safeguard the interests of the wealthy amongst us and their debauched gluttonous so called sport shooting. They have encouraged oppression of the shooting man by bedding the politicians and anti blood sport groups instead of demanding protection from persecution and prejudice.
Stop it, stop it now so new blood can come in and break the chain.

Terminate your membership and you may as well surrender you FAC and SGC at the same time, as the end of shooting in the UK will be nigh, as you will have handed victory to anti-aging lobby!!

The problem is that what they have done re. lead ammunition has been extraordinarily counter-productive and is now resulting in a wholly unmerited ban.
Whule at the same time, they have embraced the large corporate shooting interests which have acted in such a way as to massively increase negative pressure on shooting overall.
Two wholly unnecessary shots to the foot.

Publicly and speaking to the SGA I've heard more of them trying damdest for the ordinary shooting man than BASC ever have !
And the As said BASC purely looked after themselves and those with big pockets !
I can see nothing they have done for the layman in years
