Wanted: Trophy Prep Including Cape

I was shooting yesterday with a very experienced stalker (used to take 200 sika a year) now in his 80's - he has a white Sika in his freezer and would like to find someone who can do a cape mount - he has had one quote from somewhere in Eastern Europe that was very expensive,,,,although that may be the right price! He isn't on here so I said I would ask for him. Does anyone have recommendations for this and any idea what it should cost? Thanks in advance.

I have stalked and hunted Sika deer for over 38 years. Mostly in the Highlands, but for a few years also in Dorset.
For me Sika, especially in the Highlands are one of the most difficult deer to stalk and obtain a good stag.
Last year was the first time I did not take clients to the Highlands. Instead I took some of my closest friends, including a long standing friend who has guided and hunted with me over all my Highland leases and in England and abroad.
His wish was to always take a really good Sika stag. He achieved that wish last season on an area we have in the Highlands.

I would not be shipping it out of the country unless it was to someone I knew and trusted entirely, you would have no recourse should they turn rogue on you and they may well see the value of the mount as worth more than the job itself, there are plenty of good folk in the U.K. to use, why risk it.

If you are from Tipp one may assume that that you were stalking in Ireland ? Ger O’Brien in Kilkenny does good work and is close to you.
