@ANT j dropped me off 9 rabbits today,well 7&1/2 really.shot with his HMR last night.
so " today I have being mostly"processing them.
I ended up with 2.6kg of rear legs,1.5 kg of front legs,1 kg of back straps,1 kg of diced off cuts,150 g of hearts and kidney and finally a full slow cooker of carcass for stock

Making hand raised pork pies again.

My mum wanted one for Christmas and I'm off to the pub with friends later on where they don't serve food. Best take a few pies to go with the ales.

These are pork, black pudding & sage. They will have the apple sauce gelatin in them again instead of the traditional savoury gelatin.











I shall report back once cooked.

Next batch of biltong giving a mid marinade mix before bedtime ....another mix tomorrow before onto the "coffin" tomorrow for 4-7 days dependant on ambient temps
