Howa 1500 .204

Hope all is well and that you have enjoyed the festive period! I currently have, and am impressed with, a howa 1500 .243 in a stainless varmint barrel, but am looking to get the same 1500 stainless combination in a .204, but seem to be struggling on the stainless element. Does anyone know of a new one in stock, or a lightly used one around at all. Not fixated on a 1500 but think value for money on a new rifle is very good- and would like to put it into an oryx chassis, but alternative stainless suggestion options will be welcomed!

I don't believe the stainless is on offer any longer so you'd have to find a new old stock job unfortunately.

They are a fine job for the money! My .243 has accounted for many a fox!

Oh! I thought it might have just been a slow production- if they have stopped completely it would be a shame. Hopefully one pops up with little/ no use!

I don't recall ever seeing one. Mainly Tika. Mine is a Savage also v difficult to source.

I have a 1500 in 204 with a blued varying barrel fitted with a Norwich wolf grs stock shot count less than 200
