That's about it. I have never been stopped in 45 years of to & fro ing from Calais.
So you never been asked for your V5 form? That's about it. I have never been stopped in 45 years of to & fro ing from Calais.
I usually carry a copy of the V5 when I'm away on the bike........never been asked for it - if you're using a hire car/van the company should be able to provide a copy or just direct any requests back to them.So you never been asked for your V5 form?![]()
Never, I did not even take it with me in case of the theft of car with papers in it.So you never been asked for your V5 form?![]()
Yeah I know (now) what form I need, VE103. It's a wheelchair adapted transit basically. We wheel my son in in his wheelchair & then it's anchored down. The website was saying 3 week turnaround. But wife just spoke to motability & they are posting it today! Reckon should be here Friday...we go Monday!!I usually carry a copy of the V5 when I'm away on the bike........never been asked for it - if you're using a hire car/van the company should be able to provide a copy or just direct any requests back to them.

Sounds like a success- glad it went wellJust got home. Big thank you to everyone who contributed. We had absolutely amazing time & plan to return to Netherlands soon. Stopped in Gent one night on the way to break up the driving , which was brilliant place, wish we'd had longer than one night but got to visit Christmas market.
The Dutch people were some of the nicest I've ever met, and we got talking to a German family (my wife is good German speaking) who had a child with similar disabilities to our son, ended up exchanging address & emails etc who invited us to visit them in Koblenz (?)
Great family time.
Thanks again![]()
