Renewal/ variation

Hi all, I'm up for my second renewal back end of this year. I've recently joined a club and hopefully will be joining a second club soon. Given the fact that variations have more than doubled in price, at renewal I plan on applying for additional calibers. My question is... how many can I request before they think I'm having a laugh?
Thanks

Range or club use guns tend given depending on cabinet capacity, even getting multiple matching calibers if you shoot different disciplines.
But if you want them for stalking of vermin then you have more hoops to jump through

If you can prove good reason, talk it through with your FEO prior to submitting the variation. As long as they are happy, then all should be good.
You may need additional reasoning/rationale if the calibres you are requesting are out of scope for the ranges at your clubs, but things like proof of paid stalking, permissions and club visits to Bisley will support this.

Regards

Mark

.270 WIN hill deer
.308 WIN woodland deer

Thats actually really helpful. Thankyou

Don’t forget moderators for them all too. Someone with more knowledge than me will be able to advise on if the gun needs to be matched to a specific moderator etc of you just need a .22 cal moderator, a .270 cal moderator and a .308 cal moderator then chop and change.

Also in my case when asking for a "big" target calibre (.375 Cheytac) I had to show membership of a club where I could shoot it, ( its a no-no at Bisley where my main club is situated)
