I also think the bolt body protrudes so far back in cycling you have to move your head to avoid the rear of the bolt hitting your face. That’s based on watching a Norwegian video of a guy testing it, although he only had good things to say.

This rifle is of course designed to fit a niche in the German market mainly, ie, those who love the Mauser brand (lots of Germans do), and those who shoot driven game (lots of Germans do), and those who want the previous two, but can’t afford a blaser (probably lots of Germans).

personally I can’t see the point in a straight pull if you don’t shoot driven game.

Beat me to it - very similar to the blocky square-like action of the M 66! Circular fashion springs to mind, although this might again fall into the marmite category.
