I've just read the words 15 years twice!! Really, how the hell do you get wellies to last 15 years? I'd be chuffed if a pair lasted 5 years.

Parcours 2 - non adjustable, not lined (summer use)
+Vario - adjustable width calf strap
+ISO - as Vario, also neoprene lined for warmth (winter use)
+Signature - as Vario, leather lined (fancy pants!)

Very impressed with my Skellerup wellies, extremely comfy and warm. Used them extensively for stalking in a variety of conditions and have been excellent. Can’t comment on longevity as only had them 6 months, but if they last they’ll be a great purchase.

I will second that, Skellerup quatro sports, are up to now the best wellies I have owned, and I have pretty much had them all over the years.

Very comfortable indeed. Warm enough without your feet overheating. Would v happily buy again

There is a company called gateway one that make zipped wellies, when my le chameau gave up I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on another pair so looked around at other options. I must say I’m really impressed with the gamekeeper gateway one wellies and a huge saving

Decathlon solognac neoprene are worth considering. I’ve used these for a few years, not daily but pretty regularly and they are warm comfortable and durable

I have just put a pair of these in the bin, the rubber over the top of my foot started to crack, no fault of wellies they were old... I had them for about 6 years in use 3 times a week minimum-so they are excellent for about 70GBP I paid for them.

I have just bought some Skellerup quattro sport to replace them, a little bit dearer but they appear double the build quality and very very comfy, plus have space for prop forward calves!

Hopefully they last as long

like any shoe or boot, don’t wear them every day. Rotate them & give the inners a chance to dry out. I switch between Aigle isos & decathlon solognacs. Yes the most expensive solution but longevity is much better this way. Also allows me to pick for the conditions.

I tried the wides muck boot wellies and now I k ow why she doesn't wear them!

It was like moon boots pr clubf feet shoes on !

i find my skellerup quatro wellies very comfortable.

My First pair where brilliant, comfortable lasted and stable.

Bought a new pair a few years ago and they must have changed, I believe form New Zealand to China. Felt the same but the soles split after a year.

So I bought much boots which have been fine but the sole is wearing flat. To the point of been dangerous to walk on wet hills. This was probably my fault for buying the arctic sport and the sole been made for ice not hard ground. Still my wildfowling boots as they are warm.

So I bought some aigle iso parcours 2 and I have found while been comfortable seem unstable walking down him. Feels like my foot slides in the boot and the rubber is stretchy. I am going to try heel pads to see if that helps. Or just go back to wearing leather boots on hilly ground.

Wellie treatment - Wintergreen Oil - keeps rubber supple. Often sold as an essential oil.

I have been round the welly conundrum a couple of times. I too find that the Aigle is too soft in the upper and my foot slides around too much on the bed as a result. Fine for lowland/flat I'm sure, but on hills not the best for foot ankle stability.
I am not a fan on LC - although my wife loves hers.
My latest, most acceptable wear is Ariat Burford Zip. I've a pair of twice worn Aigle Parcours 2 if anyone needs some (U43/UK9)
