Lady FB’s cousin is from and still lives in, Aberdeen.
I used to think that the stories about the indigenous population “knowing the value of a bobbie” were just comedy - then I met him at a family funeral. We all stayed in the same hotel but rather than pay for the cooked breakfast he drove three miles every morning to a burger van in the local B&Q carpark! Needless to say there wasn’t much drink taken those three nights…..
