Not a UK stalker, i hope that is OK

Plenty of foreign infidels on this site, but we ignore them as much as possible.
Plenty of amateur stalkers on here as well. We suck up all the small bits of land the pros aren’t interested in. :thumb:

Am i glad i live in the land of endless opportunity. I own some land, share some hunting rights and 50 euro buys acces to the wilderness for a season. Everymans right doesnt cover hunting because then it would be impossible to preserve populations but they keep it as open as possible by selling 50 euro permits with quotas attached per region. fortunately 90% of the country in unpopulated and tho old and slow my volvo army van traverses everything including swamps.

great to hear about other hunting practices. do you have capercaillie ?
absolutely, altho not for long if things keep going downhill. between the bad weather caused by climate change and The invasive predators they arent doing well.

Capercaillie is shot from the treetops here with a rifle

Handy rifle for when putin comes calling too. kiitos for posting, I spent 6 happy months working in Uusikaupunki way back in the 80s.

Absolutely fascinating how different peoples lives are! One of the best things about the stalking directory is the diversity we get within the community. Great introduction -thanks from down here in Cornwall, Mike.

Old Volvo van sounds like a good tool. Could you post a pic ?

I think you can even get these in the UK nowadays, they are from the 60s usually, top speed 80km on flat roads, waterproof bottom and capable of crossing 130cm deep water for a distance or burst trough a deeper stream for a short distance. Capable of climbing an 80% incline if not too toploaded. This particular one started life as an army ambulance. They where also used as troop transport and mobile command centres.

They are not a car you want to take a roadtrip in but will get you straight trough the wilderness.

Yea i have a tv, sortof, laptop hooked up to a screen. We like peace and quiet but we are not the Amish 😂 its neighbours we have a problem with wich by extension puts us hours away from a proper grocery shop. But Finland has 4g coverage in 98% of its territory including the furthest Frozen wastelands. Its a thing our politicians love to boast about any time they receive foreign officials.
