I'm looking to rebarrel an R8 using the original spigot. Looking for recommendations from people who have had this done ?

he’s cheaper than he used to be.Andreas Atzl (Bixn Andy) in Kufstein, Austria. He is actually licenced by Blaser and delivers exelent work. No need to send a stub to him, he does it all.
The only caveat is that he either needs your chamber insert or, alternatively, will deliver a new bolt head at cost. All in all (incl. a new bolt head) a barrel will cost you a tad above 2k EUR.
BTW, the same applies to Barrels for the R93, if anyone is in need for one of those.

I always found Mike Norris did excellent work, as does Neil McKillop (Dasherman on here)Brock and Norris did some im sure
I am currently in the process of doing exactly this. It‘s a hassle but not impossible. But then again, I‘m in the EU other than most of you. But I‘m sure there are companies/RFD who will handle it for your. Just add a few quid to the bill. The issue will be the hassle of importing a firearm barrel
Agree with this
Jack and Will have done work on my guns - recommend both.JR
