Looking for recommendations on what people are using to mount alpex 4k Lrf onto a picatinny rail , never used a picatinny rail before so unsure what are the best mounts for it. Thanks

I've got an American Defense Recon QD monomount for my Alex 4k. You do need to combine a good quality Pic rail with decent mounts. Some manufacturers tolerances on pic rails is a bit, well, sloppy......

I have previously used several different QD systems including Warne, Sportsmatch Britannia and Tier One. Just got an Innomount to go on my Sauer.

I've found the return to zero on the AD mount to be very good. Most have been pretty much under 1 MOA, but the AD is less than that regularly.

Even if you don't want the QD function, I still think they offer a good solution.

For permanent attachment I found the Warne Maximas to be really solid.....and cheaper than QDs.

I store scopes off most of my rifles as have a small cabinet and a large collection..... hence the experimentation with various QD mounts.

Sports Match 30mm Medium are used on the P/rail with the .270 also the unit on the .243 same set up.
The key is even gaps, nip them in a X pattern (for those who have changed head gaskets will know lol)
:tiphat:

Looks good mate , I've been searching online and it says to use high mounts for some reason, rifle will have a wildcat evolution moderator on it so maybe to stop you from seeing that in the scope potentially?
With the monomounts its to stop the scope fouling on the rail which it will do if you get medium mounts. I have medium for my Swarovski and high for the Alpex 4K.
