Another vote for a small backpack.Had a few belt kits (Napier, Monach, random tactical fanny packs) and would say they all slip and need regular readjustment unless you have the shoulder braces.
Go small rucksack.
Best two I’ve found are the Decathalon 20L or the Swedteam Alpha 5L.
Both will hold a Monach compact roe sack & essentials - Decathalon obviously holds more, so is my fallow bag with suspended gralloch rigging.

This sounds well thought through. Could you post some photos?I use an old molle admin pouch. I have a diagonal shoulder strap and then a piece of 6mm shock cord that goes round the waist. It will hold a small seat pad for winter high seats, a Spartan bipod, range finder, graloch kit: gloves, s hook, wipes, drag cord. Spare batteries, small steel. Trauma kit, mini thermos. It has two shock cord loops that will hold a squeeze bag to the bottom. I sometimes decant the contents into pockets, but it’s great if you are in and out of vehicles and less annoying than a bum bag style when covering ground.
They look like the most clumsy and uncomfortable accessories I've ever seen stalkers wrapped up in! How do you slither across open ground on your belly with one of those things on?Chest rig ?
