Hi all,

Ive been accompanying a friend for a couple of years in the borders and we've recently acquired more land close to home in Nottinghamshire with a stroke of luck. So I've finally took the plunge and I've recently acquired my first FAC. But unfortunately I've not been granted a larger deer calibre as yet. Fingers crossed in a few months when I have received more evidence of deer stalking, they'll come around but until then I'll be on the lookout for some information surrounding the best .22-250's in your guys opinion and honing my knowledge on deer stalking as a whole. Looking forward to the journey. Cheers

How daft they are as if you have been granted a 22-250 to have the likes of a 243 regards on fall out range and muzzle energy . Indeed side by side they are just about mirroring the performance using 55 grain bullets.
Why did they put a Noddy in a position to dispense none science. I mean there is like no real tangible difference in public safety ? Its always the shot taken or the shot not taken , until we get to the really big guns and heavy projectiles
