Zulus Day/Night!

Shooting at the range on Sunday and the sun appeared to come up from behind the backstop.
I had to change from day setting to night because it was impossible to see my targets in day mode because of the sun.
No, my sight wasn’t pointing anywhere near directly at the sun.

Digital scopes are crap in daylight when the sun is shining.
Hmmm. Not my experience at all….
For example I was out this morning with my .17hmr and Pard008p in full sunshine - no problems zeroing on a 2inch Shoot and See target at 100 nor have I noticed any issues with my Zulus-mounted triple deuce. I recall that the Pard 007 is not that keen on bright white background targets with a black bull but that is easy to sort out - all that said I never had an issue with daylight rabbits or foxes in full sunshine or videoing lots of the same; perhaps some adjustment of your contrast/brightness is required?

Mine isn't very good in bright sun if it's towards the lense.
Got me wondering if there is an exposure adjustment???

I got the JCE sunshade and adjustable iris, works really well! Was invited to a long range range session on Sunday, bright sunny and windy day in the Cotswolds. Range of targets, 100/200/300/400/500 & 600m, was using my 308 & 300winmag, interesting stuff this long range shooting. Before we left I thought I would have a go using the Zulus on the 308 at some targets to check wether the ballistics would work, it was very impressive, I had a go at 4 targets, out to 400m, using just the in built ballistics it hit every target first time. Amazing for such a small unit - 440yds no problems at 12x mag - small circular gongs as targets
