In my earlier post I confused Pigeon Watch with The Pigeon Shooter or otherwise known as TPS Knifes (his typo not mine), sorry about that.Hello, There were some nice filleting knives for sale on Pigeon Watch, £15 posted, mine is called an Eagle Claw but not sure where to buy in UK , Can get very sharp
If you do end up making a boning knife modelled on the Victorinox, I’d be very interested in buying one!... along with a cheap and cheerful flexible filleting knife, I have just been informed that both should be arriving tomorrow, which is good.
The Victorinox in order to blatantly copy it, to make a nice hand made version of it (with a few modifications), the filleter in readiness for my week on the south coast in a few weeks, I have a couple (at least) of mackerel trips planned.
I would make and take a filleter but the chances of me leaving it in the accommodation after frantically packing the car in order get away early enough to make it back to Sheffield in less than 12 hours or so are are high
Anyway, back to my point, I have not been age verified yet, I wonder when the UK supplier will get around to that?
How thick is the blade?110mm in the blade this one will be, refined around the guard area, currently in heat treatment.
