Yes it was oldfella although I`m not concerned as the MB`s are circa 5000 k`s from home and the winds blow northerly.

I still reckon a Dugong steak be safer to eat than a Chernobyl gherkin ha ha.

Indeed! I was on the Cumbrian fells in the torrential downpour that brought the fallout down, later in the year I was part of the NERC team that sampled the area for contamination.

Hello, Yes the dry spring has not helped and even rain yesterday, it will not grow on enough to harvest so its getting chopped for silage, Shame as could have been good for pigeon shooting

It was said that in ancient times Yew trees were planted on the grave of a dead horse. This seems logical as Yew are very long lived some are 1000 yrs old and the horse would have been a source of minerals.

I know of two horses buried and trees planted on top. The trees are doing fine.
