Yes it was oldfella although I`m not concerned as the MB`s are circa 5000 k`s from home and the winds blow northerly.

I still reckon a Dugong steak be safer to eat than a Chernobyl gherkin ha ha.

Indeed! I was on the Cumbrian fells in the torrential downpour that brought the fallout down, later in the year I was part of the NERC team that sampled the area for contamination.
 
It was said that in ancient times Yew trees were planted on the grave of a dead horse. This seems logical as Yew are very long lived some are 1000 yrs old and the horse would have been a source of minerals.
UK farmers are required to have their fell stock collected and then processed through a rendering plant.

I know of two horses buried and trees planted on top. The trees are doing fine.
