Pair of does in one pic and a few shots of a half decent buck. Good clear pics too so no doubt what they were.

TBH i put my cameras up looking for foxes more than deer - i will put a couple up on the "deer" trails and advise if i spot anything then

Little paid job this evening ( well, sort of, they let me fill the van from the diesel tank) they said the rabbits are digging up the arena, anyway, there’s not many but you don’t need many to make a mess of the arena, I seen 5 and shot 4 of them, one was a cracking 167 yards with the little HMR ( cracking for me anyway) not much about but it doesn’t matter when your in a place like this, I’ll probably pop back after 11 over the weekend see if there’s a few more outIMG_2272.webpIMG_2275.webpIMG_2274.webpIMG_2273.webp

Good shooting mate👍 I have a arena I look after not far from where I live and as you say amazing how much a few rabbits will do to the sides of it

Had a lovely morning sorting a few corvids with a couple of pals - shot like a prat but hey ho - so did they !

Getting the last bits ready in the pens for the birds arriving next week - oh how it flies

Couple of squirrels shot while walking around and fox caught on camera - needs to be gone this week for sure !

Had an organised work day yesterday, managed to get both pens sorted after the fallen trees wrecked them during last season, there was a lot of work done even though only 5 people turned up ( and 2 of the 5 weren’t even members) I give up with them 🤦🏻

Always felt sorry for guys in your position, they can't make work days but generally never miss a day shooting. If things don't go right, it's automatically the keeper chap fault.
True for professional but that's what they're paid for.

Didn't know you were a member of our syndicate there again don't know what most of them look like in work clothes 🤣

You would definitely know if I was a member of your syndicate because sh*t gets done when I’m about 😁

I don’t have a problem with people not doing any of the repairs up there but what is unfair is that the usual suspects still pay the same to be in the syndicate, I seem to have quite a few what I would call office staff now, never done a manual job in their lives and to me, if you are not capable of repairing a pen, or a drinker system or any other of the basic tasks then I don’t think a private shoot syndicate is a place for them, they should just go and pay for days
The other thing that winds me up is the excuse messages I get sent, the one I got from one member took me 5 minutes to read and it basically said I don’t have time to go there until we start shooting
This was my reply to him - DON’T CARE 👍
Syndicates used to be full of farmers, builders, ground workers, mechanics, people who brought good skills to the group, now they are full of people who would struggle to cut their own grass or change a wheel on their car

I know of a self help syndicate near me. Members give option of working for X amount or not working, shooting only, for X+50 %.
Give them the choice then.

We used to charge them £50 if they didn’t turn up and that would go back into the syndicate but that seems to have gone out the window now, it’s hard enough getting their subs off them now
