Hi All,

Does anyone have any saved or links to any free print target with CM grids? I have found numerous of really good targets but they are either 1/2" grid or 1" grid.

I did do a search on the fourm to see if this has been asked before but could not see any such post :)

Thanks for your help :)

If you've got your own printer you might be able to scale down the 1" squares to 1 cm, however I find that a simple black target patch on a blank sheet of paper works fine for me.

Should add that I find it just as easy to zero a rifle by drawing a rough circle/dot in felt tip pen somewhere near the middle of a cut out piece of pizza box - no grid lines, just twiddle the turrets till the next shot goes into the dot 👍
A lot of common rounds are imperial so we are doooomed and to be honest my metric scope clicks 10mm
even a printed 1/2" are 12/7-10=2.7 so you are not going to shoot 2.7mm with a 6mm bullet and a ragged hole

OP wants 1cm grid paper, why everybody is suggesting all kind of faff? Personally I use measuring tape, but can see squared paper being useful. Just keep in mind, usually you have e.g. 45mm (223), 51mm (308) or some other measuring devices with you while shooting...

One thing I don't want to compromise is precise aiming points. How the h*ll you know where you were aiming if the point is not well defined and of certain shape? Well you could go fiddling the turrets... I rather calculate the necessary adjustment and be with it (this also reveals why you shouldn't be chasing the bull with low number of shots, since the POI actually keeps changing a bit between groups)

One option for OP would be to get 1cm squared paper and stick some aiming points in that. Paper seems to be around £15 per 500 sheets (first hit at Amazon). Beware that round shapes like target patches are difficult to attach precisely to the grid intersection. Bonus would be, you can use e.g. colour changing spots for better visibility, and/or put separate aiming spot for each shot that takes the guesswork out of shot calling and also mentally helps since you're not "shooting groups" but trying to hit with each shot.

The only reason I ask is for my app that analyses groups etc, I work in mils and meters etc, but the app need a 1cm reference to the calculate group size etc! It was just to see if there was somthing about just to make life a little easier! Thanks for your reply's👌🏻
