Printable Targets Reload Testing

That's a bit too technical for me!
If I can place a few shots roughly in the vicinity of a small square drawn on a cardboard box, at a sensible estimated distance, then I'm off out stalking!
Good stuff Tim, are they shot in Imperial and weighed in Kg

I use these at 100 metres as the clicks are usually calibrated for that distance.
The idea of the black diamond is that you aim at the bottom corner without shooting out your aiming mark.
When happy with the results, I suggest moving on to one metre of Backing Paper roll from the wallpaper shop, 'Sharpie's from the Poundshop and a diamond template cut from a thin card box. Four diamonds to a metre.

Did you even offer the OP any help?

With my reply as divide/times by 25.4. 1" is 25.4

Did you, with your incorrect divisor and irrelevant conversion to thou nonsense?
And no Tim, no matter how often you repeat it, 1" divided by 25.4 will not give you 1cm.

I never said it will I said 10mm in thou is .393 lol

Can you try a bit harder USE UPPERCASE next time

The only reason I ask is for my app that analyses groups etc, I work in mils and meters etc, but the app need a 1cm reference to the calculate group size etc! It was just to see if there was somthing about just to make life a little easier! Thanks for your reply's👌🏻

If your app needs a photo uploading of the group, just put a ruler on the target before you snap the picture. Then you have a reference, like so.

I find that using the centre dot on my scope inside the inner circle on these targets at 100 metres is way easier and more precise then any other method that I've tried.
I believe that this was/is the method used on target sights. Eccentricity must be easy for the human eye to spot.
If anyone wants the original Publisher file PM me with a email address. The rings can be modified (by pulling the corner resize marker, this 'grows' the ring without distortion) to suit yourself and your centre dot.

Hi All,

Does anyone have any saved or links to any free print target with CM grids? I have found numerous of really good targets but they are either 1/2" grid or 1" grid.

I did do a search on the fourm to see if this has been asked before but could not see any such post :)

Thanks for your help :)

Kyle
If you only need a calibration measurement in Metric, my method is to place a 6"/150mm ruler in the scanner you are using to assess your targets.
Then you have an easy job of using the embedded ruler.
This is what I do in the 'On Target PC' app that I use after scanning targets.
