These moden combines leave very little on the ground as I was checking this morning! Also with a start on the wheat a lot have switched to that, I asked when it will be peas again? 5 years!! lol
Quite sure it will be first wheat but the pigeons do like this block so we will see what turns up when it is drilled.
Some good shooting the new pup picked a few with lessons learnt for the future. A few foxes and the odd muntjac will be next on zee list.

Nooooooooooooo, had you read the posts from March. = 551.
Did you disbelieve the 190 tons lol
I stopped at 20 when I ran out of fingers and toes  I did think it was cumulative but wanted to check. On the acreage I was actually expecting 193.24 tons but 190 is close enough 👍

There is one Cockwomble on here quizzed the weight of a Red as i said 122kg he dismissed it to be much lighter I rang the GD it was 121.7 but as they easy drop 1-2 kg a day for the first couple of days it was even more when first shot lol **** all to do but pick lol

Easy tiger  I cant help but take the pee mate ...

Out of interest how many actual peas is 190 tons worth? ...or should I just pluck cough 🥰💋

If they are grown in Wales about 4 light and bitters ;)
I dont think peas are grown in Wales ... only grass and sheep

Hoping the peas on one perm will be combined soon ...i might actually get to shoot more then 1 pigeon....but I wont get carried away yet. Corvids keep me busy at the mo so back on them tomorrow...sure to get wet but lets see.

We used to get 25p for pigeons so the Eley 28gm 7.5 in fibre you could get close to breaking even (ish)

I had my first go at the pigeons last Sunday. They were following every ditch on the farm so set up with 8 decoys on standing wheat. Shot 108 in a few hours. Great afternoon out.
Once they start cutting we will get out again

Top darts.
Reignited my love for pigeon shooting. Plus I shot some absolute stonkers which helps. The farmer was due to start cutting this week but the rain came so maybe next weekend I’ll be back out.
My friend from Spain is over early September so have to save some pigeons for him. Not a bad swap for a weekend on the boar
