Zulus or alpex

Not withstanding one does it better than the other🤣
It's all relative. The issues you find with the Zulus are ones that I haven't had or don't bother me. All my rifles have adjustable stocks so scope height isn't something that bothers me, if anything a bit higher is more comfortable. I found the buttons really intuitive on the Zulus, better than previous NV I've used. I wear mittens and fingerless gloves when I shoot if it's that cold so the zoom wheel doesn't feel fiddly, although as I use the PIP function I rarely go over base mag anyway. I've moved the Zulus across 3 different rifles and never had an issue with how it mounts or keeping zero. I did experience it cutting out once under recoil but that was my fault for not screwing the cap in tight enough.

Luckily the units are different enough that they appeal to very different users which can only be a good thing.

Will you be taking trade in (Alpex 4k non lrf) against these? (Depending on lite RRP) ?? CHEERS
The margins are poor on these NV products... The night vision and thermal market has changed dramatically over this last year and residual value of products have plummeted and new product prices came down a lot....

Honestly best to try and sell private but expect to lose a chunk... these days I'd prefer not to take any part ex, most want too much and it's just not worth the hassle of moving them on...

The big advantage of the HikMicro Alpex Lite for some people is the fact its lightweight with large OLED display, very good colour image and the LRF goes right down to 3m and out to 1000m.

It's designed for the Airgun market..

If your shooting foxes at longer range or want the best lowlight for stalking, get the full fat Alpex 4K .

I ended up going for one of these (rebranded Sytong HT-70). Great value for money and really good service from the shop below:

Better than DNT Zulus 520R IMO. Not as fussy to focus.

770g with picatinny mount and 18650 battery.
