I'm debating taking mine out tomorrow, or sticking with my Tikka CTRThe Bergara BA13’s first wee buck. Taken from a whopping 20m whilst he chased he’s girl doing doe nuts.

Quite a regressing head and thick neck etc for a youngster though, even the appearance of last vestiges of the winter coat around the hock/metatarsal glands. Would be interesting to see the wear on both incisors and molars. I fancy the neck hide won’t be so easy to part from the meat. I could be wrong (again

I’d say he’s probably closer to being a mature/old buck.
What caused all the hollows in that area of woodland? Almost looks like bikers have been at it

Ye used to be a bike track before the cost of insurance put pay to people being able to come and enjoy it.
i love my little ba13, i have it in the 16.5" barrel with a dpt reflex mod that sits a couple of mm from the fore end keeping it compact.
