Barrel length doesn’t effect accuracy per se. In some respects a short barrel is stiffer than a longer barrel and thus may be more accurate.
Where longer barrels win is velocity. A longer barrel gives additional acceleration and thus higher velocity. You can compensate for short barrels with newer faster burning, high energy powders.
Short barrels you can make the rifle more difficult to hold steady etc. although a moderator to some extent will make up for this. But equally short barrels maybe faster handling.
Longer barrels in the old days with open sights gives a longer sight picture and especially as your eyes get older a longer barrel makes the front sight a lot easier to focus on.
Short barrels for some make a really useful little gun. I like the B13, but I would rather use a longer barrelled version, but I know others love the short barrels.
