The position would suit a person wanting to learn about all aspects of deer management mostly culling in a commercial forestry environment.

There is potential to turn into a shooting role for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must be reliable and able to drive. A good level of fitness is required due to the position being physically demanding.

The candidate must be willing to be flexible as the job is influenced heavily by the weather, entails long hours, day or night and some weekends.

Enthusiasm and reliability is favoured over experience as mentoring and all relevant training will be provided.
