I’ve seen several do this - hard cycling is the issue and prior to a few years ago the bolt stop had a simple hole for the retaining pin - the newer versions are slightly elongated that allows the bolt stop to butt against the rear of the action inlet transferring force to the action and not the pin itself
You can use a drill bit cut down - don’t use a standard jibber drill
- it will rust and be a pig to remove if it re occurs
The accu trade stainless pins are great and are hard enough not to shatter and far cheaper than buying a tikka bolt stop kit
