Quality Rifle Case / Bag?

I'm looking at getting a decent rifle case and Ogdens seem to get good reviews..
Any others that people can recommend? What about ones from Chinese Fleabay sites, does anyone have any experience with them, or do they and quality not belong in the same sentence?
What do others have?

Cheers

AIM Drag Bag is my pride and joy. It's so well made and thought out. Wasn't cheap, but then I'd spent the same total amount beforehand on several Amazon specials and they've all broken in one way or another. Buy once, cry once is the saying I believe.

I got an AIM but regret the purchase after seeing a few reviews relating to broken zips & the company won’t replace them

I have a Nuprol soft case for the range and its been great especially for the money. Its had a fair amount of weight in it as well. Other than that its Eberlestock for me, I wont buy AIM.

Ogdens here as well. Used extensively not just to take rifle from vehicle to my shoulder but often goes with me, used as a mat, over barbed wire and more. It is filthy and abused but I just cannot kill it. When I do, i will be straight back to Phil for another.

I doubt he gets much repeat business because they last so long. If you literally take your rifle out the cabinet, put it in the bag, take to car and then remove rifle to go shooting, I doubt you will ever buy another case. If you abuse it like me, I don't know how long it will last but mine is well over 5yrs old now and shows no sign of failing. It is pretty manky now though.

The thing to be asking yourself is are you willing save money and have the handles/shoulder strap break and deposit your expensive bangstick to the floor with a thump!?

Buy once cry once, you have expensive kit in that bag/case...treat it to a quality item. I have an Aim but if buying another I'd probably go Ogdens...Aim quality has lessened in recent years

I bought the Odgeons at the start of the year, i liked it so much that at the next show i bought another. I highly recommend his kit

I've got 5 ogdens gun bags slips the drag bag must be 10 years old still in great condition every thing he makes is quality ,great bloke to deal with, if something isn't quite right he'll put it right that's why people go back might not be another slip but welly bag or cartridge bag etc

I have
  • Eberlestock which is very well made and has a very good and comfortable carry system, very easy to overload with kit
  • Ridgeline dragbag, again well made, detachable daysack/large pocket, comfy carry, again very easy to overload
  • Ridgeline case mat, perfect size for a rifle and I've added carry straps and a PLCE side pouch, my most used case
  • Elltech double drag bag, never let me down, I'd happily take it to the range but wouldn't go to war with it
  • Voodoo tactical drag bag, good until the zip broke, if I could get that replaced I'd happily use it again
  • Web-tex, cheap, reasonable build quality, perfect for my NV set up
I think ideally what we need as hunters/stalkers is a small drag bag, most or a bit too roomy for a rifle, and normal rifle slips don't offer adequate storage for bino's etc
