Dive bottle or compressor for FAC air?

Depends on the compressor, some are just a stirrup pump attached to a rotating cam. Also depends on the vessel to be filled, cylinder under the barrel (AA410 etc) a stirrup pump with moisture trap and filter should do fine, buddy bottle, then I'd be looking for a dive tank. Also look at how often you need to top up to see if the cost it worth it. You say you have a dive bottle, if its 300bar, its probably worth testing and using, 232bar won't give as many fills and possibly won't fully fill some cylinders

Modern air rifle bottles only need 5 year test. Get biggest 300 bar you can afford. I run 2. When top end pressure goes use that one to fill up from empty and top up with full one. Also get them filled when it's cold leave outside to chill before filling and make sure the filling station fills it up to max many don't.
