Collared stag

Still the tag as far as I am aware. I’ve used spray marks in the past when I had no tags. Or it could have been so the council could see it

The collar was actually more clearly visible when travelling eastwards, due to the way the stag was lying.
I only caught a glimpse of the collar on my west-bound journey in the morning, but saw it much more clearly on my return journey later in the day, albeit from the other carriageway.
Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, I failed to spot it at all when heading west again this morning in the dark, fully prepared to pull over.
I doubt it'll still be lying there when I next pass, in a month's time, but if it is....

It definitely looked like a properly fitting plastic collar. I was going pretty steady, towing 3.75 tonnes+ behind a 1.9 litre D-Max* so I got a fairly good look at it.

(*I just thought I'd throw that in for all those who doubt the capabilities of the lawnmower-engine-powered Isuzu ).

It was. I saw it too and only logical thought I had was a vet kill warning
