watching with interest as considering a new scope for night use with LRF, but 1055gm vs 584gm it needs to be a lot better for the extra weight as trying to keep the weight to a minimum for walking use.

Really curious to see how these perform in low light (without IR) and not having the adjustable Iris like the Pulsar and Hik. I think Nocpix missing this functionality off will bite them in the backside when it comes to stalkers wanting it for low light unless there are some clever electronics to make up for it?

Never touch mine day or night, then again i only give the scope enough ir to get a nice image.

Me neither, whenever i’ve messed with it it just makes the image darker, its to compensate for bright light rather than enhance low light.

Do you leave your iris on Night mode? If the Nocpix is set up that way then it will be fine, but i don't believe it is from reading the specs. Focal lengths

Nocpix NITE D70R70 mm lensf/2.0“Slower” lens — gathers less light per pixel, so darker image in passive light.

I'm looking at buying a nocpix nite D70r or a hic alpex but would love to see the two compared side by side before doing so
has anyone done a comparison video yet? i know its early days but something would be nice

Pretty early days, I've heard on the grapevine from a couple of sources that there are bugs with the scope that need fixing. No doubt full reviews will come after these are addressed.
