Larger lens, internal battery, extra components, bigger display, aluminum body. Why do these need to weigh double a Zulus?
Never touch mine day or night, then again i only give the scope enough ir to get a nice image.Really curious to see how these perform in low light (without IR) and not having the adjustable Iris like the Pulsar and Hik. I think Nocpix missing this functionality off will bite them in the backside when it comes to stalkers wanting it for low light unless there are some clever electronics to make up for it?

Me neither, whenever i’ve messed with it it just makes the image darker, its to compensate for bright light rather than enhance low light.Never touch mine day or night, then again i only give the scope enough ir to get a nice image.
Awaiting 200 yard night time foxing footage, please.
Hoping with the 5x base mag, that sensor and 70mm focal length we maybe have a new foxing king. The Hik 4k will take some beating mind.Plus 1!

Look forward to it. Enjoyed your Alpex 4k vs Alpex 4k Lite write up and found it to be right on the money.Currently doing a Pard Nightstalker 4K EX review Alpex comparison write up, but I need more time with it to be objective.
Not 200yds but looks promising.Awaiting 200 yard night time foxing footage, please.

Do you leave your iris on Night mode? If the Nocpix is set up that way then it will be fine, but i don't believe it is from reading the specs. Focal lengthsNever touch mine day or night, then again i only give the scope enough ir to get a nice image.

| HIKMICRO Alpex 4K | 50 mm lens | f/1.2–f/2.5 (adjustable) | Very fast lens — gathers a lot of light; excellent for dusk/dawn without IR. |
| Pulsar C50 | ~36 mm lens | f/1.4 | Slightly smaller aperture, but still bright. |
| Nocpix NITE D70R | 70 mm lens | f/2.0 | “Slower” lens — gathers less light per pixel, so darker image in passive light. |
More chance once they start hitting the market, also looking forward to it myself.I'm looking at buying a nocpix nite D70r or a hic alpex but would love to see the two compared side by side before doing so
has anyone done a comparison video yet? i know its early days but something would be nice
Pretty early days, I've heard on the grapevine from a couple of sources that there are bugs with the scope that need fixing. No doubt full reviews will come after these are addressed.I'm looking at buying a nocpix nite D70r or a hic alpex but would love to see the two compared side by side before doing so
