Nocpix nite D70R

I stand corrected .

But it really does touch the floor 😉😂

Would still be really handy to actually see some mag used . To me its nothing that an alpex cant do . I really really want to be proven wrong on this scope !

I’ll wait until i look through one, even then im not sure i can be arsed switching over to another scope and i certainly don’t need the ballistic stuff so it will have to be an amazing image for me to take the Alpex off.

I personally don't think its going to better the alpex for reasons i have gone over and over ,BUT i really would like it too , i would like this to be the advancement in NV they all seem to be touting about , its well overdue not everyone is into thermal , yes its handy for spotting there's no doubt about that , personally I've always have been a big fan of decent NV kit . I have a drone pro on one of my rifles and its still the benchmark but its old tech , i think we fox shooters ( and others ) really do deserve something better for night use .

Again nothing more than my opinion .

Apparently a firmware update was released for it last night which sorts the ballistics (I assume they were knackered).

Might explain why full reviews haven't came out yet.

I wouldn't mind knowing why every video i have seen to date , the reviewers all seem terrified to go above x10 mag ? 😂

Here’s a review if you can know the language, got the range but couldn’t see how far up the mag range he was going.

According to the subtitles on the vid the night footage is with the Nocpix IR. Will likely look better with a decent aftermarket IR.

Vid is ok but he's stretched the picture which in turn makes it more pixilated...🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ll take those distances with a pich of salt, the one that you actually saw him ping, the stag on the skyline the splash was on the trees in the background!

I still stand by the starlight longbow with a first gen IR. It was expensive when they first came out and if you got a good grade unit you could easily ID out to 400 yards. I often think Julian was bought out so they could drip feed us with endless units that still, do not match it. Digital is getting good but it was a true scope image you were magnifying on the Longbow. If someone came out with it again with a better scope I would renew mine in a minute. No buttons or fuss. Thermal spotter range finder then dial up and shoot.
