A few interesting lots in Holts sealed bid sale

Was having a browse of the sealed bids sale catalogue & there are a few lots that got me interested. Not going to link any of them in case one of you lot already have ‘eyes on’. Just watch out for the knock off Leupold scope with the Chinese serial number 8888SC or similar…

Couple of lots of ‘s58’ ammunition I’m half interested in, plus some s1 stuff I may have a punt at.

Just remember people, make sure you allow 35% on top of your bid to cover the buyers fees! Oh, & if you haven’t made arrangements to collect any ammo or rifles within 30 days of the sale they assume you don’t want it despite paying for it!

25% buyers premium then vat at 20% on top of the buyer’s premium then delivery fees to RFD and RFD fees if unable to collect. Kills it for a lot of firearms. e,g you bid £400 and it becomes £520 plus if needed the delivery/RFD costs.

I have found that searching by Lot number does not always work. Easier to choose a category (e.g. Obsolete Rifles) and then browse through.

I won an old non-ejector 12b for rough shooting on there, my first ever time using the auction. Won the shotgun for £18, and delivery was £60 I think! Was a bit miffed…
