Night dilema

My idea is to pair anything of night devices (most likely that will be the ds35-70 if there is any left in local store) with Pard laser IR. That IR is new in store and it's excellent improvement on 007v1 (saw last night). So, plan is separate laser IR.

Yeah I use an external ir on ds 35-70. Does the job I need.

The original DS35 used a laser and is far better than the second generation. I believe the laser is still sold in Europe and the rest of the world. I bought the night stalker from Amazon with a laser. I believe it’s direct from pard.

Bit after the event perhaps but the Zulus V1 will give you more range than you will ever need. This was last night, heavy air with rain threatening - clearly a badger so defo not shootable in the UK but will give an idea of the picture at distance using the internal IR and zoom.

I’m no good at producing footage. But can confirm side by side the Pard night stalker and the Zulus V2 are equal side by side at night. I didn’t do a dusk comparison as I’m only using them for fox.

The 4k £800 or the EX £1,200 one?

The 4k one. I’m pretty sure it cost me a lot less than £800. I bought it direct from Pard on Amazon and made sure it had the laser illuminator as the uk suppliers were LED only.

What I should also add is the DS35/70 has exactly the same image at night, again with laser illuminator. It’s only the daylight image that’s 4k on the night stalker. Had I realised I would I would have picked up another DS35/70 as the prices are great. Although it’s on the .223 so daylight corvids are on the table and the 4k image is a bonus.

700g with illuminator is a huge difference to the alpex and I much prefer the higher base mag due to less pixelated image.

100% mate. I'm using ds35/70 on my 204. Intentionally chose without the built in ir though as I prefer using a 3rd party one.

I got it to replace an Alpex 4k, for the reason you've said. 98% of its use is in absolute darkness, not day, not last light. The pard with blade IR is fab.

@Nelle can you get a Sytong HT-70 or Falcon Dark DK-2L?

I find that these are very good budget NV scopes.
Sadly no. On my market are only Pard and Hik. And I can't import anything because I need official store to sell me "optical device for sighting" (for observation is open market).
