Good evening
Just checking if anyone has used an Innomount to fit an Alpex 4k to a Blaser R8 ?
And if so, is the 23mm overall height enough clearance for the Optic?
Best wishes

Hi, just bought an r8 and need mounts. What does innomount zero offer over the blaser QR mounts?
the innomount zero uses built in hand tightening torque bolts, so you get exactly the right tension when you are swapping a scope/mount across different barrels. Blaser mounts are excellent, but if you have different barrels and try swapping a scope across them you will probably find you have to adjust the tension screws each time, not always, and not by much but enough to affect zero. The torque screws stop this so you can have a e.g. a thermal scope, with different zeros set and be able to truly move it across as many barrels as you want. If you only have one barrel and one scope then the blasers are fine of course and the innomount isn’t needed.

Worth looking at the innomount zero, has built in torque clamps for complete repeatability across different rifles.
Many thanks Andy, thats very helpful indeed and i did indeed get the innomount zero in the end. I do swap between my swaro Z8 with a blaser mount and the Alpex 4k with the innomount xero and it works perfectly but as you say if i were to swap between barrels then the tension screws come in handy.

The Innomount allows you to sit the scope further back on the rifle so you can achieve perfect eye relief. They also do a QR extended picatinny rail to give even more fore/aft adjustment. I have a new one sat in the cupboard if it’s of use to you.

This is the extended QR rail:

Do you still have one available?

Good evening everyone,

I am waiting on receiving the new Nocpix D70R hopefully this month and I am going to pickup my new R8 in August and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which Innomount zero mount would be best to have enough clearance for a 70mm aperture?

Thanks

Stu
