Hares have had protection from lamping for a great number of years by the fact they where game (not vermin) . Then some stupid MPs messed up ! If you wanted to shoot Hare out of season or use lighting / Lamps at night you had to apply for a grant .I waiting for him to tell us which laws bans lamping hares?

There was a recent BBC Nature series and one of them was on Hares. Despite being on a estate with a prolific hare population they were unable to get any footage of leverets and the doe feeding them. They were using thermal drones to spot but no success.
