Does anyone know any dealers north of the border who stocks 300 Blackout Subs or 17 Fireball ammo.

Since can't get it in the south I'd happily travel up north for it.

Cheers.

Sadly, unless you have a visitors permit for the north or a residents FAC they will not legally be able to sell to you on your southern licence.

likewise, you'd be open to getting done for importing ammo without RFD/import license. Can of worms I'd stay away from. Ardee Sports has black out ammo

You don't reload? I have made heaps of .300 from .223. Have the case mouth flattened with a pair if pliers if having useable .223 cases is an issue.-Muir

Is any reaming / turning needed if starting with 223 cases?
Thanks, Ken.

You can also use .221 Fireball brass as next best for .17 Fireball if you cannot get any, or you CAN start at .223 but that takes time, patience and a little luck (as well as many dies)

Krank sell 17gr bullets which work very well in my rifle and only cost £27/500.
Edit: Spud seems to have .17 Rem FB brass.

No reloading in Eire 🤷‍♂️
Never realised. Although a quick Google says it is legal, the restrictions on licensing for powder and primers makes it all but banned.
BUT you can own a pistol if I meet the criteria???

Yeah, as far as I know, it is legal, just heavily restricted. I've never done it but I heard of a guy making roll your owns at one of our long range clubs. Powders and equipment etc are kept under lock and key in the club.

Ring any of the rfds in the north and Sus if they stock it...If so apply for your NI pass but you'll need your Euro pass first..Only 16 quid...Better chance getting the 300 blackout ammo..Fireball ammo might be more of a challenge...NI pass you'll need a sponsor from NI who has a gun safe etc..👍
