Looking to replace stock on Tikka T3X lite

As most know the factory synthetic stock on a TX3 lite is not great, so I am looking to upgrade. The MTD Field stock appears to be good value for money and extremely versatile. Aluminum chassis, AICS magazine compatibility, adjustable cheek piece and M-lok forend. I can fit a full length Arca rail for direct connection to Rekon tripod and Bi pod.
I am interested to hear views from others what they think of this upgrade.

PSE are great but pricey.

I have just bought a grayboe stock. Not used in anger yet but seems nice. About £550 posted from US.
Also have a PSE. Its really good but pricey. Often on here second hand for £8-900.
Ive had GRS also. A bit cheaper again. Also does a good job.
 
Do try and get a look and handle any stock your interested in before buying.
I bought stocks before and then found they didn't suit me and sold them again.
I did handle the mdt field stock at the shooting show but I didn't like it.
I prefer my Krg bravo stocks

Which grayboe one and where did you get it from?

Good point. What differences did you find between the MTD and the KRG ? Have you a T3X light ? I have the chance to go to the shooting show this Feb, so I think I will go and window shop. Thankyou.
 
I have a tikka ctr and tikka t1x in the bravo stocks.
I found the pistol grip on the mdt too small for my hands.
It could be ok for you, that's why I suggest trying before buying.

Planned to go to the Shooting Show next month to look at stocks. The MTD looks the favorite. Fit full length Arca under forend - direct connection to Rekon and Bipod - solid. .223.

Nice setup. What cal. is that and it that the quietest Mod. you can buy? I am after the dedicated Foxing setup same as you - but mainly off Rekon or bipod.

That's in 22-250, as for the mod seems to do the job. I use the same model in .308 on two of my other rifles, no complaints :)

This is mainly used from a BogPod.

Is that the 7" Arca rail on your field stock
