Looking to replace stock on Tikka T3X lite

That is a 5.5" rail The bipod is mounted to the forward sling stud

I was originally intending for a longer rail however the underside of the stock didn't allow for it due to the mlok stud layout.

Thanks for the reply. Was looking for the 7" to put on mine, but might have to look to Area 419 and see if they can come up with something that fits the MDT field stock. Want the Arca closer to the mag for the Tripod without the drilling. Have you any pickys of the gun on your tripod to see how far it sits forward with the 5.5"Arca rail please.

At the moment I'm in the middle of swapping heads over on the pod. But if I get a chance tomorrow I'll pop the arca head on the rifle, should give you an idea.

I had the Krg bravo on mine and swapped it out for the Tika CTR stock on metal magazine
Absolutely brilliant upgrade.

Have the MDT Field fitted to my T3X Superlite. This is setup as my foxing rifle, and whilst I think it's fantastic for that, I personally would not want to use it on a stalking setup, but that's just me,, everyone has their own preferences.

As Bo states above, excellent Bang for the buck.

For me it's the ergonomics of it, just doesn't work for me getting quickly and smoothly onto sticks etc

Similarly, I'm looking to change the stock on my T1x .22lr

I've got the wider forend and vertical grip on the factory stock now, plus a 3d printed cheek riser which has made a huge difference already (couldn't get the right color match unfortunately )


I was hoping my RFD could get a SCSA TSP-X for me as he had one for a Howa in stock but looks like Highland Outdoors have stopped supplying them. Problem is Livens have bumped the price up £100 on the MDT Field & Oryx whilst I was waiting to hear from my local shop
