HW100 .22 pellets

Evening all, I wanted to thank enfieldspares and quarrystalker for your kindness & generosity and much appreciated cheers for the pellets

plenty to try this Sunday when I set the HW100 up

I ended up with a used hawke endurance 4-16x50 ir with mounts for £135 from the shop.

I will post some pics of what the testing gr weights results are

Again thanks very much to enfieldspares & quarrystalker, plus everyone for the advice and thoughts on pellets cheers 🙏
Happy to help and hope you were able to find a best pellet.

Hello all,

Does anyone here have a Weihrauch HW100 in 22 just wanted to know what pellets you were using through yours or could recommend.

Had a look some say JSB exact diabolos 15.89 and other that pops up is H&N field target trophy 14.6gr, will probably get both tins this Saturday to try out

Any help/advice appreciated cheers 🙏

I found the RWS Super Field very good in both my HW100 and HW97. Petty much pellet on pellet accuracy in dead calm conditions and just as important consistent. I used to use JSBs also very good except almost every magazine there would be a flyer or two, nothing wild just annoyingly way out of the group.

That's very kind, thank you. When you do get to the testing, as suggested, fire three fouling shots of that same pellet that you then go and shoot a five shot group with. As apparently this makes a difference some say. I don't know but I suppose it won't hurt and you've enough pellets.

Most welcome 👍, going to for sure 3 foulers then group of 5 each pellet, do wonder what results will be light mid weight or heaviest. My mates reckon it will be be mid so 15-16 GR

Glad to help, as I went through the same pellet testing myself. I didn`t mind keeping hold of the pellets I purchased, as I can always use them plinking in the garden anyway. Hopefully you find one that suits your barrel when you get to test them.

Regards,

Dan
