What’s the best 22 lr sound mod can’t be an over the barrel one as my bergara barrel is to big cheers

SAK are fine, recently I've bought an ASE Utra rimfire moderator, I find that very good, plus it was slightly cheaper than the SAK

1 small grub screw and they easily come apart for cleaning.

Yes, you simply unscrew the front and you have three parts

Small grub screw old model newer one you can just use a spanner, no detriment old or new still good, i once saw a mini sak advertised about 2" long but couldnt find one for sale anywhere i still have the advert somewhere, anyway for the money sak but ive been useing a wildcat both on 17 and 22 cant remember the model but its a little overbarrel mod and strips easily but theres loads out there good luck.

Yes very first model probably 30yrs old and still going strong.

Yes I think @smoothly covered it. I have one of each. One grub and one spanner. I can't say there is anything between them in performance terms. Although 22lr isn't exactly loud in the first place.

With subs my sak is no better/worse than my atec wave.The bullet impact makes far more noise than the gun being fired.All you can hear is the bolt clicking on both my RF 's (with subs) .
