Out last night.

#9 #10

We arrived at the farm last night and it was windy and drizzling. Got set up at the boundary cattlegrid and 1st glance of the thermal revealed a fox coming out of a small copse and followed a wall until disappeared from sight.

Drove down the long winding entrance road and had a peek in the sheep fields , there was 🦊 mooching about. Gave it a lip squeak and he came in nice to be duly dispatched, dog fox 😀

On entering the farmyard the farmer was there and said he heard the shot , so we revealed the fox which his terrier had a good rag at 😅

When we told him where it was shot he then pointed out that was not the area he had lost lambs.

After pointing us in the right direction, we headed over there but the drizzle started again so we sat in the motor with a cup of tea and Mr Kipling until it abaited.

Once it relented a quick scan revealed a fox in the field , another dog fox shot at 122 yds 😁

With that we headed back to the farm only to see another pair but no chance of a shot as they slinked off into a wood.

So a great result and hopefully the lamb killer but still work to do.

Great job mate. I am very interested in your presentation and often see a big boulder in your photos. Do you take it with you to stage the pics?   👍

No where near the chase.
It's more to do with how I may or may not react!
Was only pulling your leg Smelly (and not in any type of Creedmoor deviant way either)

I dont do well in public or with other people but am still hoping to go to the show. Maybe we should all go and wear some suitable clothing "Im with stupid" T Shirts or similar so we all know who to avoid :lol:👍

Can't think of anything worse, being surrounded by experts and oracles.

I will be out stalking roebucks instead of shopping for realtree underpants 🤣
You weren't invited and your last comment shows complete ignorance..... I will be shopping for a thong

Out for a few hours wander then sat and watched a wood edge. Nothing showed so checked out adjacent field and bloody hell there was the fox I'd been after for ages.

Luckily it presented itself and over she went at 124 yds .....a barren vixen 😁

No enjoyment was taken from this outing its just something we do 🤣
