Took this picture at the guide’s cabin to go out ice fishing with the boys. Trickier than you would expect! To honour the bilingualism of the provence I’ll accept answers in English or French.

Beaver, Wolf, Bear, Jackal(?), Red Fox, Marten, Ferret (Polecat?), Stoat, Badger, Wild cat (lynx?),

The rest no clue I know there all mustelids, species I am not familiar with at all guessing 11 Is a otter but I'm cheating at this point, they all look the same just differing sizes....

I have most of those in my collection.
For the canids you really need a front view with jaw closed to differentiate between dog/coyote/wolf.

The aquatic rodents are fun as well, beaver/nutria/muskrat.

At one point I kept a dermestid colony in the classroom. For the smart kids I let them bring in their own skulls to clean, for the bad kids I threatened to off them and put them in the colony to get rid of the evidence. There was a large overlap between bad and dumb, so they didn’t realize it would take my dermestids 2+ years to get rid of a body.

The best skull I had was the one that nearly landed me in serious trouble. A kid brought in a “bird” skull, and becuase he was trusted I didn’t really check beforehand. Turns out it was a vulture. In the USA all birds of prey are federally protected and possession can result in a $5000 fine. I called a friend at Fish and Wildlife and asked and was relieved when he said that as an educator I could possess as long as it came from an accidental kill. I left it at that, got the permit and breathed a sign of relief. With permit in hand I asked the child about it. His response” oh, dad (a felon, forbidden from firearms possession) shot it and cut its head off and said take tha5 to school”.
