As a newcomer to Stalking, getting into the world can be daunting, (AND EXPENSIVE)
So.. With ground already being paid for, once my licence arrived a rifle was necessary pretty quick.
wasn't too fussed on it being anything fancy, just something that done the job, equally i didnt want somthing that was going to fall apart.
so. trawling the web as you do.. came across a decent looking Tikka online, so contacted the shop (Cluny Country Guns) in fife, and by hell my experience couldn't be any better,
An initial enquiry about the rifle online was swiftly followed up with a phonecall from them checking exactly what i was looking for, obviously i was after a scope etc, (Now i know they are a shop and they are looking to sell stuff, but as someone new, this can usually be a situation of you need this and that etc) but in this definitely wasn't the case. with Dougie on the phone, he put a package of Scope, sling bipod together, and with all the questions i had, absolutely nothing was a hasstle, even a couple more phonecalls through the week, he answered everything swift and friendly, so . went to pick it up yesterday, this was by no means a new rifle il add, but when i got there was met by Robin who got the bare rifle for me to look over and feel. then the he assisted with the build of mounts and scope etc, encouraged me to go check the scope outside, aswell as bore scoped there and then.
Again i know im paying this shop. but i really felt a 5star personal service was given and will definitely be heading back up to fill the other slots on my licence.
