1 magpie today (which was fortunate as one of my call birds snuffed it overnight)

I use the clam shells and make a nest and place close to a hedge
I think i have an element of luck - but put 15 ish out and usually catch a corvid of some form

Interesting you are having success. I’ve never caught anything in mine - I’ve made a nest of straw with a couple of eggs in it but to no avail. I’ll try it again this week and see what happens.

Definitely persevere @jon2 with the clam. Even once I've got decoy in my larsen, I still put clam next to main trap & catch more in clam still.

Shooting....I've about forgotten what that is!!! Last few ewes to go then I get my life back! Fully intended to zero my new scope on 204 today but nope! Had it since mid march & not even zeroed it!!

Bloody farmers and agricultural workers ...no keeping you happy. To wet, to dry, to hot, to cold.....no money to buy top of the range kit every year .....and we entrust our green and pleasant land to you...we are in trouble

On a serious note hope lambing has gone ok and will be good to see some reports of you shooting something. Apparently you dont need to bother with pics anymore

Agreed ... I have a shed load of character at home at the mo...need a couple of days with the chainsaw to sort it out.

Waiting to have some cleats welded onto the steels on the front of the one shed so I can timber clad it...not rushing to get my neighbour to sort them as then I havent got an excuse

Looks smart. Our sheds are in need of a little TLC so having removed the dodgy doors and had some new steels put in its onto the cladding. Always something fun to do lol
