STOLEN - "too hot to handle"

Hello,
My actual stand was outside, the equipment was in the JS1Trailer(R) at the main hall next to the Main Stage......
From my enquiries, 8pm is the relevant time..... If you could check that would be great, thank you.

A friend parked his Defender 90 at the stalking show car park, a group of lads who parked behind them in a pick up did the ‘nice landy pal’ comment, but didn’t follow my mate and wife to the show.
When they came to leave, the fuel cap was gone and the tank drained.
The scum do walk amongst us !

Just dreadful I also see a SD member had all his cash stolen from a sealed cargo pocket they cut the pocket with a knife. He posted on a thread after the show.

You've got the wrong end of the stick- that was @pob.
He had cash stolen at a different event at the NEC, not at the Stalking Show.

Stuff like that generally pops up at second hand tool markets in the UK or Ireland.
Have a quiet word with the investigating officers, they usually have a pretty shrewd idea who’s operating locally and where the stuff goes.

I have lost various things at shows over the years: it occurs overnight, and the security guards have been the ones responsible. Things like two fullsize Apple monitors, big things that only security crew would nick. It is not all legal gun owners at the shows.

If doing a show, ALWAYS have space that locks up, and put a few trailcams or AOSI type cameras down so everything at night is recorded. I also put a few non-Apple trackers into the most desirable items. Since then, everything lost at shows has been recovered. Small items go back to the hotel every day. It is extra work setting up your stand each day, but only way to get through the show happy.

Done many shows, always either broke them partially down between days, with anything that could go walk about coming back to hotel…or sleep on the stand

Did a lot of shows with my last wife we organised our own security overnight. Some were clothing traders who were well known and even had chancers in the day time. They quite often spoiled our game of baseball. I remember at Chatsworth one year some clothing was stolen but the miscreant was apprehended on his travels and the sports of boxing and football ensued. The police were informed after the games.
